About the Product
What exactly does Simplovative build?
We build fully custom SaaS platforms — ERP systems, CRM tools, procurement modules, finance trackers, AMC management software, and more. Everything is built from scratch for your specific business. We don't resell or white-label any existing product.
Is this a ready-made ERP or built from scratch?
Built from scratch. We don't take a generic ERP and configure it for you. We design and develop every module based on how your business actually operates — your terminology, your approval chains, your reports.
Which industries do you work with?
We've worked with manufacturing companies, project-based engineering firms, service businesses, and trading companies. The platform is industry-agnostic — if you have a repeatable business process, we can automate it.

Pricing & Payment
How is the project priced?
Pricing is based on scope — the number of modules, complexity of workflows, integrations, and number of users. We provide a detailed quote after a discovery call. There are no hidden costs.
What is the payment structure?
We follow a milestone-based model: 40% advance on signing, 40% on UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and 20% on go-live. This keeps both parties accountable throughout the project.
What does the monthly SaaS fee include?
Cloud hosting, PostgreSQL database, daily automated backups, SSL certificate, uptime monitoring, and up to 3,000 transactional emails per month (approval alerts, invoice reminders, AMC notifications).
What does AMC cover from Year 2?
Annual Maintenance Contract covers bug fixes, minor enhancements (up to a fixed number of hours per month), security patches, and priority WhatsApp/email support. Major new modules are scoped and priced separately.
Do you charge GST?
Yes. All amounts are exclusive of GST at 18% — CGST + SGST for intra-state transactions, IGST for inter-state, as applicable under Indian tax law. A GST-compliant invoice is provided.
Timeline & Process
How long does it take to go live?
Most projects go live in 8–12 weeks from the date of advance payment and requirements sign-off. Larger projects with 8+ modules may take 14–16 weeks. We work in sprints and share progress at every milestone.
What does the development process look like?
We follow four stages: (1) Discovery — understanding your workflow in depth; (2) Design — wireframes and architecture sign-off; (3) Development — agile sprints with regular demos; (4) UAT + Go-Live — your team tests, we fix, we deploy.
What do you need from us to get started?
A clear explanation of your current process (even if it's just Excel sheets and WhatsApp), your team's sign-off on requirements, and the advance payment. We handle everything from there.
What happens if requirements change mid-project?
Minor adjustments are absorbed. Significant scope changes are documented and priced transparently before we begin the additional work — no surprise invoices.
Technology & Hosting
What technology stack do you use?
We build on Next.js (React), TypeScript, and Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Hosted on Vercel with automated CI/CD. This stack gives you a fast, secure, scalable application that runs on any device.
Where is data stored? Is it secure?
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on Supabase with row-level security — meaning each user only sees data they're permitted to access. Daily automated backups are taken. You own your data at all times.
Can I access the software on mobile?
Yes. All applications we build are fully mobile-responsive and work in any browser. No app installation required — just open the URL on your phone or tablet.
What's the uptime guarantee?
We host on Vercel and Supabase, both of which offer 99.9%+ uptime SLAs. We also set up uptime monitoring with alerting so we're notified immediately if anything goes down.
Data & Ownership
Who owns the software and source code?
You do — upon full payment, all intellectual property including source code is transferred to you. You're not dependent on us to keep the software running.
Can you migrate our existing data into the new system?
Yes. We handle data migration from Excel, CSV files, legacy software, or existing databases. We clean, map, validate, and import your historical records before go-live so you start with your data intact.
What if we want to switch providers in the future?
Since you own the code and data, you can take everything with you. We also export your database in standard formats on request. There's no lock-in.
